Engines with good thrust to (fuel +oxidizer) ratios?
Robert Clark wrote:
The most common measure of rocket engine efficiency given is ISP, thrust to fuel burn rate. Another common measure given is oxidizer to fuel ratio. What I need is thrust to (fuel + oxidizer) burn rate in order to evaluate the the feasibility of pumping fuel/oxidizer to a rocket from ground rather than carrying it along. What speed are you thinking of doing this pumping at? -- http://inquisitor.i.am/ | | Ian Stirling. ---------------------------+-------------------------+-------------------------- Paranoia: A game for the whole family, and anyone else who might be watching. |
