Flexible fuel tanks

Wondering if flexible fuel storage tanks are possible? I'm thinking of a large volume tank that could be rolled away until needed. Thinking more about O2 than any other gas. Should be possible. Teflon is still flexible at liquid oxygen temperatures, and it should also be possible to build flexible multi layer insulation. But what for? There is enough room in space to store any conceivable structure... :-) |

Flexible fuel tanks
Should be possible, you might want to take a look at using different
materials for different functions. After that combine them in a flexible sandwich construction. (Be sure to look at the permeability of the materials wrt O2) Hope this helps, Rogier |
