A huge investment in time and equipment. Used with remarkable skill and artistry.

Many owners pose such instruments indoors and never use them as intended.

I feel so inadequate with my scrap metal constructions.
Sometimes I don't even paint them pale green and white. ;-)

I've had a couple Takahashi refractors. They really are nice scopes.
