Default ASTRO: NGC 5746 From Colorado Springs

This is the third image from 3/12. Only had time for one hours worth but
seeing was better than 3.0"

Doug, you certainly got enough signal in this one hour. And detail is
nothing short of amazing. I have attached an image from last year (8" LX200
at f/6.3, SXV-H9 camera, 28x5 minutes) just to show that it is not easy to
get any detail in the dark lane.

Thank you for looking! Happy that you like the image. It has been 6 months
since I last made an image so I was pleased to find the system running well
after such a long down time. Hope to get a lot of imaging done as better
conditions prevail.

that's a tough one with that bright star. I've tried for that one before and
that star gave me fits

that's where an ABG camera really comes in handy

The star bloomed very strongly.... used DeBloomer and touch up in PS
