Press briefing live now... Gully formed recently (not 6 million years, 6
months!)

Because there's bugger all down here on Earth."

I wonder if it's got anything to do with the increased Solar activity I was
reading about. Apparently the North and South poles on Mars are shrinking
and the planets supposedly heating up. Try telling that to the mongs on this
planet though and all they can shout about is CO2 levels increasing. We need
to raise taxes to stop it. Yeah right, f**k off Blair, you ****.

The CO2 levels in the atmosphere are increasing.

No... he said shout. Like this. "THE CO2 LEVELS ARE INCREASING!"

Has anyone thought it might be dust or sand flowing to reveal a brighter
surface underneath? It must be pretty dry there and i've seen sand dunes
flow just like a fluid here, let alone under sush low pressure. Any water on
the surface would sublimate leaving the sand & dust very, very dry indeed.

Six months? Sometime in the last seven years, I gather.
But isn't there a suggestion that the gullies are formed by carbon
dioxide

Not yet - but apparently there is Bourbon and branchwater leaking from
Olympus Mons, which is thought to be due to Mars bars )
