Fred says I want to find fault with America when I worry about what
really happened on 9/11. Fred says I hate America when I related what
the USA has done in places like Panama. The fact is, I wouldn't say
anything if I didn't think America has the capacity to live up to its
promise as a Constitutional Republic. Fact is, I wouldn't point out
the faults of America if I didn't love my country. The USA is my

I don't know about you, but I can't seem to tell the difference
between Fred and Hitler, or that of Fred and GW Bush or Dick Cheney,
because they all seem like clones of one another.

Fred thinks America has always been honest and right, as well as
having never made any mistakes, much less having lied or obfuscated to
the rest of us. Fred thinks that no American has ever taken advantage
of or having provoked another nation or tribe.

Apparently on the Fred J. McCall world there is no such thing as
insurance fraud, banking/investment debauchery, rogue double agents or
faith-based/political extortion taking place.

Again, its not a moral failure of any particular leader. It is the
changing nature of technology and the way that technology impacts the
way we do things.

In weapons we went from Knights to Colt revolvers and Springfield
Rifles. This forced a change from specialist soldiers to citizen
soldiers - and the rise of Feudal control of populations to maintain
defense.

In production we went from land supplied by distant machinery to a
period dominated by machinery financed by bankers. This forced the
change from a period of Automatic Control to a period of Conscious
Control.

In social structure we went from an era of skilled citizen farmers
supplied with high valued goods by distant and few industrial owners
to an era of low skill workers managed by high skill managers trading
in large quantities of low valued goods. This forced a change from
rational scientific optimism to an irrational religious pessimism.

Now, consider the positive visions promoted by JFK, vonBraun, Lewis
Strauss, Leo Szilard, and others in the 1950s;

We can see that with distributed computing, widespread scientific
training, made available to all using modern psychological techniques,
private nuclear power, privately owned spaceships and space homes,
supported by autonomous self-replicating robots possessing artificial
intelligence superior to human intelligence but lacking the will to
power common to humans - has the potential to move us again to a
period of Democratic Automatic Control dominated by rational
scientific optimism.

The problem we face today is that the irrational pessimism of the
present age is reflected in a firm belief that Social Darwinism
operates to social benefit and that we face a die off from over-
population that must be managed at all costs and that any challenge to
that control must be ruthlessly supressed. Even the suggestion of
anything contrary to this is ruthlessly attacked under the notion that
the majority would rather embrace an comfortable fiction than an
uncomfortable reality. This creates among these leaders an irrational
desire to embrace and uncomfortable fiction and reject a comfortable
reality.

This steadfast adherence to pseudo science of supposed benefits of
social darwinism will inevitably lead to a radical reduction in human
numbers, human diversity, and very likely lead to our absolute
destruction even if a period of infinite life spans, super human
artificial intelligence and superluminal travel were to immediatelly
follow such a die off - so reduced will our diversity capacities and
density will be.

That's because the cosmos will at some point challenge us beyond our
capacity to adapt with such a reduced diversity. It matters little if
we rush to engage the cosmos or wait for the cosmos to engage us. Our
ability to survive is a factorial function of our numbers and
diversity.

The only possible path to long term survival of the human species
therefore is to engage the solar system immediately in a big way and
arrange our affairs that allows the survival at a high living standard
as many people we are blessed to have and promote self development to
preserve as many ideas we are blessed to have.

Okay, I'm 100% onboard with most of that. So as long as the
mainstream status-quo of existing power, wealth and authority that you
don't want to upset is not paying any attention to anything you or I
have to say, the great Mook plan is to do exactly what?

Do you still think there's more than sufficient natural resources and

decades?

Consider too that gunpowder, TNT and plastic explosives contain
between 2.4 MJ/kg to 4.8 MJ/kg. Meanwhile petrol contains 43 MJ/kg
and natural gas 55.6 MJ/kg. 10x more! Why isn't gasoline and natural
gas used in weapons? Because these fuels deflagrate while the
explosives detonate. Yet, there is research ongoing to create
detonation engines. Using hydrogen peroxide as an oxygen source and
petrol or liquified natural gas as a fuel source, we can create simple
mechanisms to fill simple, low cost, highly engineered shells with
ASIC internal controls that turn every iPod into a fire control center
using nothing more than water, natural gas or petrol, and
electricity.

As things unravel, look for these types of devices to hit the market -
with personal aircraft and UAV acting as weapons platforms.

So, basically, a simple array of highly engineered shells in a simple
array - using bluetooth control software - is thrown into a brief
case, and plugged in. A half a gallon of gasoline is added, along
with a gallon of water. Overnight thousands of rocket propelled
grenades are available for convenient transport. All that's needed is
for folks running the fire control software to take a picture of a
target with a GPS enabled iPod or Blackberry, and for someone to drive
buy and let the required number of rocket propelled grenades off the
chain. The grenade is powered by the same fuel and oxidizer made to
detonate instead of deflagrate.

I don't support these things, I don't know who will do these things.
I do know that they will be done, and that if 10% or more of a
population has them - they will repel any conventional attack.
