Default the Ares-1 will be 5+ TIMES LESS safer and reliable than an EELV

..

in the latest update to my "Ares-1 can't fly" article (
http://www.ghostnasa.com/posts/012arescantfly.html ) I talk about the
Ares-1 stage-separation ullage motors reported in this Hyperbola post:
http://www.flightglobal.com/blogs/hy...ging-risk.html

well, since these 20+ ullage motors add very much risks to the Ares-1
flight, the REAL safety and reliability of this new rocket CAN'T BE
"two times better than an EELV" (as claimed by NASA) but (probably) 5+
TIMES LESS than an EELV

so, the Ares-1 CAN'T FLY (or can't fly SAFELY) and the FULL ESAS PLAN
is seriously DOOMED

Ares I has troubles but none of them are as you have explained.

Your comparison of the 4 and 5 segments is flawed. Thrust doesn't
matter, total impulse does. But then again you have idea about what I
am talking about

Perhaps they only need an extra hundred billion dollar bailout.
