Board Appointment - Executive Director Dr David Tyrwhitt

South China Resources plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr
David Tyrwhitt to the Board as Executive Director.

Dr. Tyrwhitt has had a long and highly distinguished career in the
global mining industry spanning over 40 years.

Dr. Tyrwhitt was the founding CEO of Newmont Australia and was
responsible for the inception and expansion of production at the
Telfer gold mine from 500,000 tonnes per annum to 2 million tonnes per
annum. Prior to this he held several senior positions within Newmont
worldwide, including Director of Exploration Australia, Exploration
Manager Eastern USA and Exploration Manager South East Asia.

After leaving Newmont in 1988, Dr Tyrwhitt became CEO of Ashton
Mining, Australia's largest diamond company prior to its eventual
takeover by Rio Tinto.

He then headed up a joint venture of Normandy Mining Australia and
Anglo American exploring in South East Asia, with a focus on Indonesia
and Laos.

Since then Dr. Tyrwhitt has been actively consulting in the Asia
Pacific region with particular emphasis on China. He has worked
closely with Robert Friedland in China, including evaluating copper
porphyry deposits in Tibet, and has also worked with several
Australian groups elsewhere in the country.

Alastair Clayton, Executive Chairman commented, "We are delighted to
have a person with this depth and breadth of experience in China and
particularly Tibet joining our Board. David has spent the last 5 years
in Tibet seeking out opportunities for global scale mining projects in
the province and will be a major asset to the Company going forward.
We intend to make further Board appointments as and when they are
deemed necessary."

Well, here is a decent answer for a change, instead of the usual
insults or denying of the John Kepler, Travis Morien, Eduard
Groenstein, Wally Anglesea or Chris Mc Donald 's types !.

Unfortunately it took you too long to accept that evidence that your
Parliaments are completely overtaken & controlled by financial &
mining interests ! ..;further still that you are rolled in the flour
by your australian medias who are at the boot of such interests !

Your continuous insulting over the years both personal or directed to
the French or France has caused irreparable wounds, which indeed will
never heal
.....all the more since I know you all too well having spent over 10
years in your Hell on Earth : australia, but I am not going to expand
on that darkest period of my life where one is completely alone, and
alone against all ! If I had remain in your Hell even 6 month more I
was dead indeed, either murdered by the Mining Criminals, or pushed
