China Aims To Build World's Largest Rocket
http://news.xinhuanet.com/english201...c_13759948.htm
China is planning to build a rocket that surpasses the mighty Saturn V in payload capacity (130 metric tons). Intended for a manned Moon landing and deep space exploration the new rocket is currently in the design stage and won't be ready unti 2020-2025 is my guess. The Chinese are currently still working on the Long March V, which at 25 metric tons to LEO has about half the payload capacity of the Falcon Heavy. |

Exactly, just like how Russians turn a nifty profit at taking passengers safely up to ISS and back after a few days. Too bad our NASA is not smart enough to figure out how to get any direct return on investment. http://translate.google.com/# Brad Guth, Brad_Guth, Brad.Guth, BradGuth, BG / “Guth Usenet” |

China may have the bucks, but there is absolutely no indication many of those bucks are going to their space program. Treat this the same as last weeks "report" that Russia was going to build a moon base. Show me the money. Brian |

They will be the first to have an orbiting space station wheel, a moon base and mars settlements. We'll be wiping the dust of our faces. -- Fuddy Dud |
