Is there a newsgroup that is DEDICATED to Astronomy? THIS one surely is
not.

I am a new member here and i am still confused by the grateness of
information
but despite this i suppose this site IS belonging to Science and
Astronomy

"'The Gutenberg galaxy is being eclipsed by the constellation of
Marconi.'"

There is this one and SAA, but there are also e-mail lists, ones that the
kooks can't get on because if they did they'd get booted real fast and some
fake their return address which stops them from joining good lists.

it's free, just reply to the return
message and your on then. It's also spam free too.

There are those who believe that life here, began out there, far across the
universe, with tribes of humans, who may have been the forefathers of the
Egyptians, or the Toltecs, or the Mayans. Some believe that they may yet be
brothers of man, who even now fight to survive, somewhere beyond the
heavens.

Oh believe me, there are other names for them! The cleaner ones include
the terms "blithering idiots", and "unscientific buffoons"...
