You really don't like the fact that April 15th is approaching, do you? ;-)

Not sure what he does like. Is he really making only $45K/yr?
(scaled for SoCal). Oh, and the teacher example is further
complicated by *their* degrees, and they pay income tax, also.

....Actually, you'd be surprised at this factoid: when it comes to "one
case fell off the back of the truck" thefts committed by truckers,
theft of beer is actually quite low on the list. Top of the list is,
believe it or not, cigaretts, followed by high-tech entertainment
equipment, with the really high dollar really aged spirits coming in
third. While the latter two are obvious, the reason cigarette
shipments usually wind up a case or two short is that the industry and
the distributors tend to turn a blind eye to it as "ensurance" that
the shipment will wind up where it's supposed to go relatively intact.

I forgot what #4 on the list was, but I do recall #5 being Sodas, and
#6 being frozen steaks...

Don't worry about me...a lean and hungry look I don't have.
I tend toward corpulence, and am reasonable, pleasant, and phlegmatic.
Still, there are those two naked-eye visible comets drawing near:

"Comet NEAT will first be visible from the Southern Hemisphere. It shows up
for viewers north of the equator in early May.

"Comet LINEAR will also be visible from the Southern Hemisphere, and
depending on how much it brightens it might be seen just before sunrise in
late April and early May by Northern Hemisphere observers."

Predictably, I suppose, it doesn't say when the two comets will first be
visible in the Southern Hemisphere. Where could I find this out?

http://www.heavens-above.com/

has information (including sky charts) for Comet LINEAR (currently
in Aquarius, at magnitude 6.2). They'll probably give information
for Comet NEAT as well.
