Why Macintoshs are almost as fast as Intel-PC:s?

This is almost imposibble to understand...
Motorola has always so small frequence in their processors compared to
Intels!
But MAC:s have better BIOS - better Rom-Circuits!
If there will come some advantance to PC:s it is that - that PC's old Window
XP:s and Vistas and thouse ohter news are becoming more to
BIOS-ROM-circuits! Rom is much faster for reading than loading every ****ing
thing for Operating System from a hard-disk!
I am not liar... This is the next step for Windows, there are more
Rom-hardware in future - not so much software for Operating Systems from
slow hard-disks!
