Default Career in Space Policy

"Spencer" wrote in message ...
Hello,

I am extremely interested in a career in space policy, and I am currently
looking at schools for graduate work. However, I am looking for any advice
on what type of path to choose, and what resources are available. I figured
that it would be negligent not to post onto this newsgroup for pointers. As
a further bit of information about myself, I already hold two master of
science degrees in both aerospace engineering and technology and policy. I
am mainly looking to do PhD. work.

Spencer,
Why not get some practical experience under your belt first? I note
that a lot of space policy types don't know what engineering is really
like out on the shop floor: building stuff is quite different than
just talking about it. An appreciation of the real world would be
helpful to you.

Having said that, try the Geo. Washington University space policy
program run by John Logsdon.
