CONTRACT RELEASE: C05-007

NASA AWARDS ALABAMA ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING SERVICES CONTRACT

NASA has awarded a contract to CH2M Hill, Inc., Montgomery, Ala. The
contract is for environmental engineering services at NASA's Marshall
Space Flight Center, Huntsville, Ala., and other government
facilities.

The contract begins December 1, 2005, with a two-year base period,
followed by three one-year options. It is a performance-based,
firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract.
It has a minimum order quantity value of $20,000 and a maximum order
quantity value of $25 million, if all options exercised.

CH2M Hill will perform environmental engineering services, which
includes a wide range of tasks in support of Marshall's Environmental
Office, other NASA and government facilities. Tasks include conduct
of environmental studies; preparation of permit applications;
development of plans and reports in support of environmental
compliance activities.

The contract is a follow-on effort for environmental engineering
services, which have been provided by CH2M for the past five years.
