Default solar prom rockets into space

Witnessed an amazing solar prom lift-off and rocket into space
~160,000km [0.1 solar diam] this morning over a 10m period. The sun
is certainly dynamic! Pic at

Maurice,

Those are very nice images. The PST is a amazing scope for it's size and
cost. I also notice you don't seem to have any issues with Newton rings
when using your 300D on your PST. I have a 10D that suffers from very bad
Newton ring when used with my MaxScope40

I need to get out and view the Sun more often. Here is a pic I took awhile
ago with a Lumicon 1.5 angstrom filter and a Meade LPI camera. It is a
single frame from an AVI file.
