Default President Audacity cuts 40% from NASA's planetary exploration budget

But, no doubt the jackasses will be spending billions on the
worthless, vile ISS and "global warming" research. This president and
his "entourage" are the WORST science group EVER in the Whitehouse.

The biggest loser in this re-prioritisation is planetary science in
general and Mars exploration in particular which will receive $360.8m,
a reduction of almost 40% from the FY 2012 estimate.

An important aspect is to make an Earth based enclosed
self-sustaining system along the lines of Bio-Dome.
Vital as it is to the colonization of outer space, that will
need to be solved.
I think we need a hard look at atomic boosters too.

With the physiological problems (the latest one being eyesight) do they
really want to keep putting humans in space for months at a time?
