intentionally "faking" it. That is the catch-all used to dismiss the
entire phenomenon, but it is not universally applicable. It's not
nearly that simple.

proven to them that it is actually happening by something like
psychic means.

Which in itself means nothing -that it is actually happening via 'psychic'
means - there could be a hell of a lot of bull**** being psychically
broadcast
out there all of the time, for a whole hell of a lot of bull**** reasons.

Even if there *are* aliens and they *do* have impressive tech, they
**could still be** incredible assholes and dickheads who are just out
for themselves.

I wouldn't doubt it, but I couldn't find the group you are
referencing. I tried both and even some variations as
well as using the groups search engine. If you come up
with a url for the group let me know and I can compare.
