BUZZ on Howard Stern.."No to the Moon"...Denies wanting to be "First"!

Buzz Aldrin's a bitter douche. First, I've seen interviews where he whined like a bitch about not being first out the door, so either he's convinced himself otherwise in his fog of senility or he's outright lying. Maybe memory loss is a favor from Nature, giving us some relief from the past when we need it the most. Second, I find it curious that he's out spewing this **** the day after Neil Armstrong made a very rare public comment on Obama killing the Constellation program. http://www.xmradio.com/onxm/index.xmc And maybe the old coot has a plan for getting to Mars, but from all I've read, the moon landing would be a stepping stone project to shake out the bugs in a mission of colonizing in extreme conditions and relying on water ice to produce oxygen for breathing and fuel. Aldrin should stick to the corny reality shows and washed up talk host interviews... -- lab~rat :-) Do you want polite or do you want sincere? |

In other words with you sully public funded guys, the public is always supposed to pay whatever it takes and for as long as it takes, regardless of the consequences. We've been there and done that, and thus far we have less than nothing of commercial value to show for all the decades worth of our hard earned public loot. We're not even being allowed to recoup any of our shuttle investments, and there's literally tonnes of spendy shuttle payload configured stuff that's just going to the dump, like the shuttle bay SAR equipment that could easily image Venus at just a few meters per pixel (possibly upgraded for as good as one meter/pixel). ~ BG |

might Odissey-Moon be the Google's expected, preferred, designed,"chosen" and (maybe) "funded" GLXP team to WIN the prize? with ALL otherteams that just play the "sparring partners" role? | gaetanomarano | Policy | 3 | September 27th 08 06:47 PM |
