The Earth's and moon's divisor always run parallel to each other and perpendicular to the orbital plane -

The moon's orbital motion is only a small difference to the Earth's orbital plane -

If NASA can manipulate imaging to show a disgraceful pivoting circle of illumination, it can show the orbital trait of the Earth in that photo to show a divisor that runs perpendicular to the orbital plane as the Apollo spacecraft rounds the moon.
