Default Discovery PDHQ

I'm considering a Discovery PDHQ 8 Inch f7. I would welcome any comments
on the quality of the optics and any comments on eyepiece recommendations.
Also, for you seasoned observers in Florida, is there ever a clear,
cloudless night during the summer months, or do you observe only in the fall
and winter?
