Dobs
Hi,
I have been looking around the web finding varies bits and pieces (tube, mirrors etc..) to build my own 10' telescope and pricing it all up. While I was looking for my components I came across this page http://telescope-service.com/dobsoni...art.html#gs880 This is a 10' F5 dobs telescope with a choice of BK-7 or Suprax mirrors. The price of this is all for £460 (BK-7) or £560 (Suprax). This seems quite a good deal. As I am new to the scene I would be greatful is someone could tell me if I am going to waste my money on such a purchase or is there better/similar products out there which I have missed. Thanks Howard |

Hi
I bought an 8' Dob from telescope-service around 2 years ago, I can't speak too highly of them , Wolfi, the owner is very friendly and knowedgeable, the Dobs are Orion XT clones (ie. very good scopes), the scope arrived from Stutgart (?) in a couple of days. For the money, you won't get much (any) better in this country! Gaz "Howard" wrote in message ...
