Default ASTRO: UGC 11973

UGC 11973 is a galaxy in Lacerta that I imaged in two nights at the end of
August. I had to do two iterations with the "deconvolution" plugin in
Astroart to make the stars look better.
Image scale is 0,74 arcseconds/pixel.

Taken from the middle of Berlin with a 10" Meade ARC at f/7.2, SXV-H9
camera, 36x5 minutes.

The picture can also be found at

Good detail on a small galaxy. NED puts its redshift distance at about
180 million light years. I don't recall seeing this one before.

I'm now in my period of lousy seeing and poor transparency due to ice
crystals in the atmosphere that limits my ability to go faint as in my
SN shot in M61. Though like you I've got a lot of "old" ones still to
process. It appears we both are procrastinators when it comes to doing
the processing.

Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct.
Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh".
