NASA SETS SPACE STATION SPACEWALK BRIEFING & TV COVERAGE

The second and final spacewalk for the International Space Station crew
is the subject of a 2 p.m. EST, Friday, March 18 media briefing at NASA's
Johnson Space Center, Houston.

The news conference and the spacewalk will be carried live on NASA TV.
Questions will be taken during the briefing from media at participating NASA
centers. Briefing participants:

- Kirk Shireman, International Space Station Manager for Operations and
Integration
- Derek Hassmann, Expedition 10 Lead Spacewalk Flight Director
- Scott Bleisath, Expedition 10 Lead Spacewalk Officer

Expedition 10 Commander Leroy Chiao and Flight Engineer Salizhan Sharipov
will step outside the Station at approximately 1:30 a.m. EST, March 28. NASA
TV coverage of the almost six-hour spacewalk begins at midnight EST.

NASA TV is available via satellite and on the Web in the continental U.S. on
AMC-6, Transponder 9C, C-Band, at 72 degrees west longitude. The frequency
is 3880.0 MHz. Polarization is vertical, and audio is monaural at 6.80 MHz.
NASA TV is available in Alaska and Hawaii on AMC-7, Transponder 18C, C-Band,
at 137 degrees west longitude. The frequency is 4060.0 MHz. Polarization is
vertical, and audio is monaural at 6.80 MHz. The news conference will be
available live on the Internet at:
