Some questions on GR from a layman

My question was whether information transfer faster than the speed of light is inconsistent with SR. Your opinion is clear, but you did not prove your statements. WHY is it inconsistent with SR? While Daryl, Tom, and Paul try hard to spread the religion of SR through fudging of the math, the hypothesis, and the applicability, Koobee Wublee would like to offer another comment. ** SR has no mathematics or any hypothesis to address higher than c. PERIOD. shrug ** The Lorentz transform does not apply to any speeds faster than c. PERIOD. shrug ** There is no provision for applications faster than c. PERIOD. shrug The willingness and tenacity among the self-styled physicists able to cover BS can be summed up by the following bullets. ** FAITH IS THEORY ** LYING IS TEACHING ** NITWIT IS GENIUS ** OCCULT IS SCIENCE ** PARADOX IS KOSHER ** FUDGING IS DERIVATION ** BULL**** IS TRUTH ** BELIEVING IS LEARNING ** MYSTICISM IS WISDOM ** IGNORANCE IS KNOWLEDGE ** CONJECTURE IS REALITY ** PLAGIARISM IS CREATIVITY ** MATHEMAGICS IS MATHEMATICS |

you claim mathematical competence, so
you should be able to handle Lanczos treatment of SR using quaternions, in _Variational Mechanics_; he was an assistant of herr doktor-professor E. it's a somwhaat better formalism that the usual, because the vectors are "pure imaginary," and the scalar, time, is real. |
