Hardin 8" Dobs

I see that Hardin has their 6" dob on sale for $249. Their 8" is
listed as $349. Does anyone know if the 8" for $349 is a sale price,
or the regular price? Or how long the 8" will keep the $349 price?

I have called them, but I always get a "not sure" answer as they say
only the owner knows. I know I have seen him reply on this group, so
I thought I'd try the post.

What have these scopes sold for in the past?

I can tell you that you are getting a great deal at the $349.00 price. Do you
want it cheaper? Go to Astromart. I saw someone there selling one for $275?
If you want it new, I don't think you will find it getting cheaper...once it
catches on, the price will go up!

Again, I am not connected with them. I purchased two and they are good.

Also, they were advertised in S&T and Astronomy about a year ago for that
price, I believe. And then they sold them out. You can check the old issues
for their adds.

I got my 8" a few months ago during a sale for $299, but they went up
shortly after. Now there is a new model out. $349 is not a bad price, imho.

Thanks for the reply. I am not looking for a cheaper price, I am
trying to save up for the 8". I have enough for the 6" right now, but
would like to get the 8", I am just hoping they both don't go up in
the mean time and I end up spending $349 for the 6".
