ASTRO: NGC 4618/4625
I used two nights in March to image the galaxy pair NGC 4618/4625 in Canes
Venatici. Seeing was very good, even at full scale of 0,57"/pixel stars looked nice sharp. I had to rescale to 0,85"/pixels to hide the noise. Taken from the middle of Berlin with a Meade 10" ACF at f/7.7 on a G11 mount, Atik 383L+ camera, 19x10m Lum, 9x10m each for RGB. http://ccd-astronomy.de/temp7/4618-4...ursmallgut.jpg Stefan |

Wish that happened more than once a year here, if that. Both are one armed spirals to my eye but only 4618 made Arp's one arm spiral category as #23. Bigger gets all the glory.
