Default ASTRO: good ol' Edmund 10-inch

My third scope (but first decent one) as a 12-year old, was an Edmund Newt
on a GEM. The guys set up next to me had this neat old 10-inch. The same
guys were near me at Cherry Springs Star Party back in May.

George,

Thanks for posting all these shots from Stellafane. I've always wanted to
attend but doubt I'll ever get the chance.

We still use an Edmund drive like on that 10" for our solar scope drive
an Hyde. It's about dead however.

Never saw anything but a 6" Edmund GEM before. They were just a line in
the catalog to me.

Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct.
Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh".

Tom,

I keep saying that about the Texas Star Party and the Winter Star Party.
Someday I'll make it to both.
