Macintosh and Astrophotography

All:

Have used Macs for years, and have always wished that there were
drivers for CCD cams...there is plenty of planetarium and telescope
control programs, but a dearth of software for imaging.

Came across this link yesterday and am quite excited...this seems to be
an obvious endeavour for a gearhead, and wonder why more have not done
this.

Thanks to Mr. Steinberg for posting the link to my little page on Mac
astronomy software. One of the links leads to Equinox, a planetarium
program that can also control SBIG CCD cameras. There are a numerous
options for webcam control.

To my shame, I have not listed iCCD yet; this is going to get me chewed
out if I don't do it soon, as the author of iCCD is a principal
organizer of the Macintosh Astronomy Workshop (MAW)
http://mrmac.mr.aps.anl.gov/~macastroworkshop/, which I will attend
on September 8, followed by AstroFest http://chicagoastro.org/.

I hope to have new information and insights for

MAW.

I am very excited to have the option of using my MAC for
