Default Progressive Political Party Platform

This is just a rough outline.
This paper should be finished by next week.

The Wisconsin Idea in the 21st Century

Progressive Political Party Platform

Habeas Corpus
A Constitutional Amendment

Church State Separation Clause
A Constitutional Amendment

Science as Public Policy
Science as Public Education

Human Health and Welfare
Environment and Species Preservation

Military as Humanitarian Assistance
Military Action By Declaration of War Only

Federal Hate Crimes
Violence Against Free Speech - Fascism

Legalization of Marijuana
Decriminalization of Drugs

These seven policy platform positions will go a long way towards solving
this particularly dark, nasty place that America has gotten itself into.

I guess you're just into the 'torture them with no habeas corpus in an
overseas secret prison' thing. You like to 'go to war based on lies'
thing as well. I guess you're happy with the 'no human health and
welfare' for the poor, only the rich. It's perfectly fine to give the
wealthy trillions of dollars for their efforts in the war profiteering.

I guess that makes you oh' so American.

===============================================

Hi, Tom. Questions:

1) That all looks at the past. It is necessarily
directed to the future. How do you connect these
two?

2) The newsgroup topic is sci.space.policy. Nothing
in yours seems to connect to it. Yet Terra here is
pretty well mined out and overpopulated, so the future
sees either degradation and collapse, or evolution
into space. This newsgroup is a good place to work
at a future in space, but you don't seem to mention
that at all. Why not?

It's always nice to hear from you Al. If I am still hearing from you,
then I know the usenet is still operational, and that civilization has
not yet collapsed upon itself into a heap of concrete dust and paper.
