If Jupiter and Juno were to see how they were being portrayed, there would be some harpies or snakes showing up at JPL pronto. ;-) What's Juno carrying? A tambourine, or a frying pan to whack Jupiter with if he gets out of line with Europa again? ....Oh; magnifying glass... I don't think they had those back then, they probably mean a mirror of some sort. (It would have been fun if they did have magnifying glasses, as the telescope's invention could have been occurred around a thousand years or so before it did.) Pat |

Shades of 2001! Crew Announced for New Jupiter Mission
So, my question - why did the Legonauts have to be made out of
aluminum rather than the "standard" Lego figure plastic? http://www.theregister.co.uk/2011/08/04/legonauts/ To much risk/worry about parts separating or cracking in the cold? Or do they figure that the Legonauts have a better chance of surviving a launch accident without an LES if they are aluminum?-) rick jones -- I don't interest myself in "why." I think more often in terms of "when," sometimes "where;" always "how much." - Joubert these opinions are mine, all mine; HP might not want them anyway... feel free to post, OR email to rick.jones2 in hp.com but NOT BOTH... |
