Default Future Use of the Space Station

Hello,

It has been a while since I have posted any thing to this group, as I have
been busy. But I wanted to point out that if near future plans by the Bush
adm. are carried out to use the space station for human endurance
experiments & not for the present research/manufacturing, we will have
wasted 60 billion dollars.

Russia did this with their space station for a decade, in prepairation for
future long term missions. The results were that prolonged weightlessness is
difficult on the human body, which should be no surprise to any one.

I want to point out that I am a Republican & Bush supporter, but if this is
all we are going to do with it we may as well have not built it at all &
saved the $60+billion that it has cost.

JoeL
