[OT] Looks like one of the major spammers lurks on sci.space.*, kids...
....I just got 11 spams on one of my business accounts for various
bogus products and services, including cheap viagra, Maxson enlargement, and inkjet cartridges. All were from "linda ham" OM -- "No ******* ever won a war by dying for | http://www.io.com/~o_m his country. Did this spam actually ask if you wanted to enlarge your Maxson? That could become a fun new euphemism around here for Willy, Mr. Happy, Big Johnson, John Thomas. Imagine discussing a colleague's management ability by inferring that he "stepped on his own Maxson". All were from "linda ham" Sounds like a seriously malfunctioning address scraper harvesting from the subject lines or the bodies of the messages here...possibly the only explanation for a Maxson enlargement spam from Linda Ham. Btw, OM, I thought it funny, noticing that the .sig file in your message in s.s.h. triggered a pile of sponsored links for George Patton-related media merchandise, not space-related at all. A discussion thread on pending anti-spam legislation over in news.admin.net-abuse.email once triggered a column full of sponsored links for lawyers, legal aid services and a couple of P.I.'s. |

JimO did it first: http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=e...ng-cc1.aol.com All were from "linda ham" I've been spammed by her.
