Although I would love to get a screen capture of "All Stars" where Shii

Ann
was under the bucket of water- she stood there in a way that said "You all
don't like me, and I don't much like you, but **** all of you, *I'm* going
to win this immunity contest". She was like a statute. Didn't like her,

but
she definitely had balls then. Rupert was my man!

Rupert was truly a pirate. He was great.

She doesn't hang around here much anymore.

Exactly- however, those who have consistently shown that they have taken the
time and effort to support their position should be given the benefit of the
doubt, while those who consistently show that not only are they wrong, they
refuse to learn from being wrong (Bbo Hallre, Stuffie, Brad Guth, Min, Wbua
Znkfba, "scott", etc.) should be ignored or even killfiled. We don't take
anyone here on faith (except, possibly Henry Spencer), but some folks make
it easy to reach the burden of proof, and others who refuse.

Scott Hedrick,
Speaking about those worthy of their being ignored; I assume that
you're speaking about yourself.

Can you prove otherwise, by way of offering us an example of something
constructive with regard to our moon, the LSE-CM/ISS, life on Venus or
that of the Sirius star system?

She does, however, pop up every once in a while.

Once again, I didn't present an argument, or even purport to, you

I've debated/argued countless times in all kinds of ng's.
And there's one great constant to them all.
The person that's losing the debate ends it with a
bunch of insults.

I have to chime in here --

Great, thanks. That clears it up.

I really have to chime in here too.

You really are one dumb anonymous mother****er.

Once crucial question science is trying to answer, were you born a dumb
mother****er, or were you indoctinated by American culture to be just
another dumb mother****er? Was your apparent dumbness a result of just
a chance of genes, was your mother a ****er, or perhaps your daddy
wasn't your daddy, but your daddy didn't know, or were they just dumb
mother****ers, and they raised you to be another dumb mother****er in a
nation of dumb mother****ers? This is trying question all intelligent
Americans ask themselves nowadays, in an attempt to understand the
complete and utter bull**** America has become in the modern world.

Was it nature or nurture? Naaa, forget it, it doesn't matter. You're
clearly a dumb mother****er, that is the result we have to live with.

snip

This post really ought to be the new dictionary entry for 'ad
hominem.'

No, I just made it up. I was very careful to be extra hominid.

On a related note, the notable decline in civility on usenet forums is
the main reason I hardly ever use usenet anymore, and also why I
choose to remain anonymous.

So let's see, you come onto science newsgroups, and the very first thing
you do is ... LIE! Since you can't even be truthful about your identity,
how can we possibly take anything you say seriously ... you're a liar.

Oh, I forgot, you're dumb. That explains a lot.

You're so special. So ... hominid.

She's still keeping an eye on the newsgroup, albeit a bit tardily.
