Default Hubble Repair Mission Not Dead

The Baltimore Sun reports
http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/hea...pr30,1,7634542.
story that NASA Administrator Michael D. Griffin has ordered engineers
at the Goddard Space Flight Center to begin planning for a shuttle
servicing flight that would keep Hubble functioning after 2007. The
paper says that Griffin is "betting on the come," i.e., betting that
the upcoming shuttle mission, which has been delayed due to additional
safety concerns, will be a success. If it is, there is a pretty good
possibility that there will be a Hubble repair mission.
