So, equipping the nest with a self-erecting tower, or just finding a
nice rock, or crevice to climb up, would allow snakes to gain
interesting views.

So, swimming in the seas of Titan or any of the other moons that have
liquid on their surfaces need not be a problem.

Small radio-isotope-thermal generators replacing the batteries are
possible giving the robot a much longer life and setting it free from
the 'nest' that brought it to its destination.
