ASTRO: NGC 4236 reprocessed
My first attempt a year ago resulted in a totally blue galaxy, core just
about as blue as the arms. That didn't agree to other images I found on the net. Then I found out I was making a mistake in my processing and everything I was doing was too blue. I'm slowly going back and redoing those. Guess it was my blue period. This one however probably suffered the worst for it as the core isn't all that reddened compared to most spirals. 14" LX200R @ f/10, L=8x10' RGB=4x10' (this one is dim), STL-11000XM, Paramount ME Rick -- Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct. Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh". |
