Astro: A Cepheus Planetary NGC 7139
Milky Way wasn't quite as dense in Cepheus as it is was in Cygnus for
NGC6894. Still it makes for a nice setting. Note that most of the red ring is due to NII not HII though there is some HII. The NII line is so close to HII a 3nm filter is needed to separate the them. This however is just a LRGB image. 14" LX200R @ f/10, L=4x10' binned 2x2, RGB=1x10' binned 3x3 (clouds prevented a second set of color frames and this seemed sufficient so never went back for more), STL-11000XM, Paramount ME Rick -- Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct. Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh". Rick |
