Conservative "news" organizations relay information with breathtaking speed, because they don't trouble themselves with annoying aspects of journalism such as fact-checking, triple- source verification and plausibility. Rove says it, conservatives believe it, and that settles it. -- ----------- Brian E. Clark |

I'd say Dan Rather, who has never been called a conservative, was guilty of most of the same "sins" you cite for conservative news organizations in last year's stories about Bush's military service. -- Rhino |

As usual. The moronic neocon lies about what happened. Dan Rather wasn't wrong about Bush's service - it was publically substantiated by the secretary. He had been fooled by someone with a fake memo and admitted freely that it turned out to probably be fake. But the contents were officially substantiated. Conservative 'news' organizations never admit their lies and continue to do so, just as you just did. Now admit you were wrong and surprise us all about your lack of character. |
