Homemade telescope
I just built my first homemade telescope.
I used a cement mixer for the tube and mount, a glass salad bowl for the lens, and duct tape for everything else. Works great, although the other night the milky way was looking a little green, then I realized there was still a piece of lettuce stuck to the salad bowl. This scope also shows the Martian canals really well. |

Hey Red,
just add some hidden ranch salad dressing as a liquid filter on the bowl, and you just might see the gondola's going down those canals. ;-) TW Red Green wrote: I just built my first homemade telescope.
