Default telescope shop in birmingham

having moved to birmingham recently (no i didn't commit a crime, nor
have i lost my mind or anything else hilarious like that!) from
london, where we are spoiled for choice, I ventured into town today to
check out Sherwoods Photographical store with a view to buying a
tripod for my ETX 125, only to find the shop has moved to the
Cotswolds.
Does anyone know a decent asto shop in Birmingham?

Chris

Shazbot!!! You're right! I thought that can't be right, they've been in Brum
for many years and I'm
sorry to say it but IMO they were the premier binocs/telescope shop in Brum.

When I visited Bm. recently, I visited a dealer who specialised in
photographic goods, but I think he also handled astronomy gear.
J.M.Townrow, 12, Islington Row..........
I think this was on the edge of town but, as I was being driven on that
day,
I am not too sure of its location.
Does this help? If not, feel free to quote "++&%$**#"!!
