Default RSRM static test firing April 28

At the ATK facility in Promontory, Utah. Big free public viewing area
about 8000 feet from the stand with good visibility of the motor, the
exhaust and the plume. Very impressive 2 minutes. Tests are usually
scheduled for about 1PM, weather permitting.

Hmm, "Dear, I want to go to Utah... why? well you see this very loud
event... what, not until pigs fly?" :-)

Would be nice, but not this time around.

Well, next one is in October, I think.

Are there any coyotes or roadrunners in the area? The rocket has the
following signs painted on it: 'ACME ROCKET COMPANY". "PLACE ON GROUND,
LIGHT FUSE, MOVE AWAY QUICKLY. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RELIGHT DUDS."

Actually... Having lived and worked just south of San Jose, CA, I gotta
say... Utah chicks put California chicks to shame. Sure there's that
whole weird theology thing going on here, but the Utah woman actually
look like they're almost entirely organic *and* they can speak English.

Coyotes? Yes. Road Runners? No. Chuckers and pheasants in some
astonishing abundance... I nearly run into pheasants on my drive to/from
work *every* *day*. Damn birds is *dumb.*

Yeah, they also tend to walk across the road at the speed of a snail.

And they apparently process the image of a car bearing down on 'em at 65
mph at the speed of a late 1970's modem.
