I have often noted that as the Earth turns to the central Sun as a component of its orbital motion, the North and South polar latitudes will be seen to turn in a circle. As this is so, there will also be an orbital center to that orbital rotation which can be discovered at the moment the Earth's polar latitude is at right angle to the central Sun and located on the Arctic circle, in this case at the Equinoxes.

I would gauge Northern Canada hence the remarkable coincidence of magnetic North which exists on a line that incorporates both the rotational North pole and the circle of illumination. It may be that the location of magnetic South and North results from a combination between daily rotational magnetic fields and an orbital magnetic field or that the use of the magnetic poles are underused in terms of orbital dynamics and electromagnetic signatures which keep the planets in orbit around the Sun. There are also the signatures on the Earth's crust which are also underused -
