Even though shower activity drops off after the Quadrantids at the beginning of January, the month remains one of the strongest for sporadic meteors. I've always recorded a lot of fireballs in January, and there have been many reports of major events around the world this month. _________________________________________________ Chris L Peterson Cloudbait Observatory http://www.cloudbait.com |
