Default motion picture fillum "Gravity" how it ends

For the climax, the Chinese escape vessel Shenzhou is tumbling then
rights itself with heat shield to the fore.
Is that feasible?
I know the movie has various factual errors, but I haven't seen
the re-entry discussed.
