Default Sci-Fi Hypothesis: Spaceship pulls asteroids into ecliptic orbit

Hello,

People on this planet earth have found asteroids circling around the sun in an ecliptic orbit.

For this to happen there must be a counter-weight, at least according to math/newton physics laws.

Now some believe that there must be a hidden planet that we have not found yet, causing these ecliptic orbits.

However what if there is no planet ? What if an object was there but is now gone ?

Possibilities:

1. It was a planet but got spong off and is lost in space.
2. It was a planet of another solar system that we almost collided with. Though perhaps less likely cause it might have pulled much more out of orbit.
3. It could have been a gigantic spaceship that jumped into space, stayed there for a while, got ****ed at the dinosaurs eating one of them and then decided to blow up the whole planet.

So one more time:

1. Spaceship visits our solar system.
2. Stays there for a while, long enough to pull asteroids into an ecliptic orbit.
3. Something bad happens which makes them decide to blow up earth with a projectile or maybe their visitation caused an asteroid to be pulled out of regular/normal orbit and collided with earth (maybe later after they gone).
4. Spaceship jumps home.

And we are left with unexplained ecliptic asteroids.

Enjoy the sci-fi,
Bye for now,
Skybuck.

One more comes to mind, maybe a bit whack:

Maybe two gigantic planets collided and formed jupiter made out of gasses from this enormous explosion.

So some kind of planet collision might also explain the missing planet.

Bye for now,
Skybuck.
