Default Rate integrating gyro's noise

The noise for a Rate integrating gyro is .01 deg/sec/Hz^1/2
Wath is the meaning of it? Why (.../Hz^1/2) and what this mean?
I know the meaning of .01 deg/sec but i don't know what (.../Hz^1/2) means.
