Default Dedication of Stealey Memorial Launch Site in Pueblo, CO

WHO: The Southern Colorado Rocketeers National Association of Rocketry
(NAR) Section #632

WHAT: is hosting dedication ceremonies for the Stealey Memorial Launch
Area and 4H Project area

WHE at the Hudson Ranch located 9.5 miles south west of Pueblo,
Colorado on Colorado Highway 78 (Beulah Highway). Look for the signs
with directions to the launch site. Please close all gates. The Hudson
Ranch is a working cattle ranch.

WHEN: 21 June 2008 from 9 AM until.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Come out and see the improvements made to the
launch field. Some of the improvements include an improved road,
storage shed, graveled launch area, and graveled parking area. There
is an FAA Waiver to fly rockets to a maximum altitude of 8,000 feet
Above Ground Level from 10 AM to 2 PM. Persons wishing to fly a rocket
weighing more than one pound and with more than 125 grams of
propellant need to contact the club No Later Than (NLT) Friday 20 June
2008 by 0600 hrs (6 AM) so that proper notification can be made to the
FAA. We are hoping to have some very large rockets flying for the
dedication.

COST: This event is free of charge to the public. A "donation" of $1
for non club members flying model rockets and $5 for High Power
Rockets is requested. This fee is good for all day flying. To fly high
powered rockets, persons must be current members of NAR, Tripoli, or
Canadian Association of Rocketry (CAR). There will be a drawing for
two free Estes Model Rocket starter Kits during the launch. Club
memberships available on the field.
