Now there is plenty of Dark Matter near the Sun

Coming off of a study just back in April of this year which said that
they could find no hint of Dark Matter near the Sun, now a duelling
study finds that there is plenty of Dark Matter near the Sun.

How many times has life been detected, and then refuted?
Things in meteorites, color changes on mars, the Seti WOW signal, Viking experiment positive.
And everytime an hour or so later a complete refutation using scientific arguments.

I think before talking about 'dark matter' one should specify what one means with it.
The need to publish (garbage or not) papers is probably the main cause for that matter (dark, grey, or the absence of it).
And then there is politics and funding issues too.

Do not hold your breath, next is: Bright matter...

The Sun's concentration of mass in the outer periphery can't be
explained by Sun's gravity alone. Nearly x2 gravity needed.

True/False - I can't tell you. But when measurements and physics is done
it would be extremely interesting to know if true, why this is.

The stars and planets are all bright matter.

A white hole (as opposed to a black hole) would be something
impressive if it were ever to be found.
Then it would prove that the universe is a much bigger thing than
what we can see and measure.

I am sure it is much bigger than what we normally refer to as 'observable universe'.

I think we are more like the ant creeping up a wall,
we do not understand the building, neither the purpose of the wall,
or the thoughts of the architect.
If we are lucky we do not get stepped on or exterminated by the big rentokill...

Anyways we have been sending radio waves into space, maybe some aggressive alien race
looking for resources comes attracted by it.
And a few of us end up in their zoos for them to look at and study.

Any sentient race would have conquered most of the galaxy in as little as
250,000 to 1 million years from them having achieved the Sputnik moment.

The nearest galaxies are too far away to conquer in relative terms.

So our galaxy is our home to us to occupy all of it.
The nearest galaxy is so far away that it would make little sense
to even think about it.

A trip from Europe to America was by boat and took ages, if you made it (storms etc).

discovery of fire - long time passing -, iron tools - very long time passing -,
machines - cars planes - electricity -radio communication etc. NOW
This is a big jump in just a short time, like I am sure making iron tools
caused big changes so long ago.
The distance, in time, to the next big discovery that will allow conquering this and other galaxies
may be of a same type of very very very long wait, if humanity makes it.

But other civilizations may just be making this jump now.
FTL travel, oh in the past it was impossible to fly because only birds were lighter than air...
Science (of the pseudo kind), and the same rules us now and is teached to our children.
Lots of what I learned as a kid is now debunked too.

In the universe, as it seems everywhere, [the right of] the strongest will rule.
I am sure they studied our eating habits and maybe you get Mc Donalds burgers in their zoos.
Every day at 12.

Thats why I chose the Sputnik moment - the time when first
space faring vehicle is built.
Since then our development has been exponential.

If you were to plot all industrial activity such as ball bearing production
to chip production, they all lie on an exponential curve.

The most interesting thing since the discovery of this curve is that
we are still on that curve. Another most interesting thing
about this curve is that it is exponential and becomes infinite in 2038.

My guess is that we will be leaving the planet in big
numbers and start this process of colonizing the stars
and within 250,000 to 1 million years the whole
galaxy would be covered.

Civilizations coming into existence a million years ago would
have done the same thing - and its likely we would not be here
to talk about it. So we are likely the first sentients on this
galaxy and in 250,000 to 1 million years or so, we are likely
the only thing occupying this entire galaxy.

The nearest galaxy Andromeda is too far away to have any meaningful
impact on what happens in the future after 1 million years.
