Hagar Robots are the best pilots. They do not come out of the air-port
bar. They can have sensors all over the outside of the aircraft. and be
in tune with them. They do not talk or day dream do not need to take a
****. Its a case of just having them work full time, and not when the
human pilot is asleep. Go figure TreBert

We've had that technical capability as of the past 40 years.
Therefore, perhaps 100 years from now is when robo-pilots will be in
charge. Until then innocent folks have to die and a few hundred
billion in collateral damages has to take place. Either China or
India will have the first commercial robopilots, although Russia has
already demonstrated such capability.

Bert, with the fly by wire capabilites of today's aircraft, the pilots
could sleep through the whole flight, and it shouldn't make any
difference! When the Russions tested their knockoff copy of our space
shuttle, they flew and landed it entirely by remote control. They
weren't about to risk the lives of any Russian pilots in such a crazy
design.
