Default Amateur Telescope?

Hi there,
Just wondering if someone could recommend a good beginners telescope. I've
used a 70mm refractor for a little over a month in a nicely light polluted
city, and was wanting something a little bigger.

Suggestions?

Regards.
SM

Hi

How about an 8" dob. Relatively cheap and gives good views. Check out
www.telescope.com the Orion web site.

"In this universe the night was falling, the shadows were lengthening
towards an east that would not know another dawn.
But elsewhere the stars were still young and the light of morning
lingered: and along the path he once had followed, man would one day go
again."
